Izzy Anderson
Art Director
Graphic Designer
Social Media Strategist

Who am I?

I am Latin X, Queer student graduate from BYU. Something not super common at my school, in any regard. My time as a creative has been both gratifying  and heart breaking while attending BYU. Often labeled as too edgy or abrasive, work that has been heartfelt, has been received as antagonizing or too liberal for my college. This work is work that I have made because I love it. I strive to make work that challenges the norm of wasteful production and costly production. I aspire to bring art to life where the story holds precedent over superfluous measures.

My goals and dreams as an art director, graphic designer, and social media manager, is to help bring brands that I love to life. I know my strengths, and one of mine is that I am creative unlike any other. My taste and aesthetic touches every part of my work. I don't simply strive to make a tangible product; I want to illicit feelings, stories, and environments that can be brought from design, color, and light. It's in the little things.

An Izzy storytime I feel worth sharing is about when I was 12 years old and ran a band fan age with 3,000 followers.

And I know what you are thinking, HOW CUTE!  Wrong.  This was a hard core job that I took very seriously.  At this age, I was a self proclaimed emo. My Chemical Romance, Pierce the Veil, and A Day to Remember were in regular rotation for my dark soul.  Music was religious and honoring one of my favorite bands was my calling. The band with this dedicated, military grade agenda for social media, was called GhostTown. I had each day of the week planned accordingly. Monday, fan art; Tuesday, band appreciation; Wednesday, band news; Thursday, Q&A; Friday, more fan submissions.

Only now can I realize how this simple hobby, one my parents felt was a phase, has remained pertinent not only in my life, but also my career.
